Permissionless cross-blockchain swaps using the LEO token economy
At our core, the LeoFinance Team and Community tackle challenging ideas and push the bounds of what Web3 offers. LeoBridge is one of the most challenging products that we've worked on.
Crypto as a whole is an ever-evolving industry. We're seeing a massive market need for seamlessly moving assets from one blockchain to another. With the multi-blockchain thesis playing out in real-time, we see that this need is not going to stop anytime soon. In fact, it will grow in perpetuity as crypto gains wider adoption.
Enter LeoBridge.

Cross-Chain, Permissionless Swaps Through the LEO Token Economy

LeoBridge V2 UI
LeoBridge offers the ability to permissionlessly swap assets from one blockchain to another. It achieves this by using decentralized Smart Contracts across every blockchain that LEO exists:
  • wLEO on Ethereum
  • bLEO on BNB Chain (BSC)
  • pLEO on Polygon Network
  • aLEO on Avalanche

How It Works

LeoBridge's V2 UI is the easiest cross-chain swap UI that we've ever seen. We want LeoBridge to be the "every person's" UI for cross-chain swapping. It's easy, intuitive and does away with all unnecessary clutter.
On the frontend, LeoBridge is incredibly simple. The backend is a different story.
Most cross-chain swapping platforms rely on the use of some sort of oracle or centralized middle-man to handle the swaps. Not LeoBridge. LeoBridge relies on the wrapped LEO token economy to permissionlessly wrap and unwrap the proper assets to achieve the output desired by the user.
Let's illustrate this using the example seen in the LeoBridge V2 Screenshot above. Our user here wants to swap 900 BUSD from BNB Chain (BSC) to USDC on Polygon Network.
